Instructions

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for 3 to 4 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.
  5. Flatten each ball into a small round about 3 inches wide.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. Add dumplings in a single layer without overcrowding.
  8. Cook 3 to 4 minutes until the bottoms are golden.
  9. Flip dumplings and drizzle remaining olive oil around the skillet.
