Description

These no bake peanut butter bars are sweet, salty, and topped with smooth chocolate for an easy dessert that sets in the fridge.


Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup finely crushed pretzels
  • 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup chocolate baking chips
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter


Instructions

  1. Line an 8 by 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. Stir together the melted butter and vanilla extract in a large bowl.
  3. Add the crushed pretzels, peanut butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until fully combined and thick.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan to form an even layer. Chill for 10 minutes.
  5. Place the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth and melted.
  6. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the chilled peanut butter layer.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, until fully set.
  8. Lift from the pan and cut into bars before serving.
