  • 6 ounces white fondant
  • 6 ounces pink fondant
  • 6 ounces red fondant
  • 1/4 cup heart-shaped sprinkles
  • Cornstarch for dusting


Instructions

  1. Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla, mix until combined.
  4. Gradually stir in flour mixture to form dough.
  5. Chill dough 20 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F and line sheets with parchment.
  7. Roll dough 1/4-inch thick on a floured surface.
  8. Cut 3-inch hearts, place on sheets 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake 8 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  10. Cool cookies fully on wire racks.
  11. Mix powdered sugar and water to make thin glue.
  12. Dust surface with cornstarch, roll fondants 1/8-inch thick, cut matching hearts.
