Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 long English cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 loaf of sliced sandwich bread, crusts removed
Instructions
- In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and mayo until smooth.
- Stir in dill, green onions, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over each bread slice.
- Layer cucumber slices over half of the bread slices and sprinkle with extra dill if desired.
- Place the other bread slices on top to make sandwiches.
- Cut off crusts and slice each sandwich into 3 little rectangles or squares.
- Serve right away or store covered in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
