Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 long English cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 loaf of sliced sandwich bread, crusts removed


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and mayo until smooth.
  2. Stir in dill, green onions, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over each bread slice.
  4. Layer cucumber slices over half of the bread slices and sprinkle with extra dill if desired.
  5. Place the other bread slices on top to make sandwiches.
  6. Cut off crusts and slice each sandwich into 3 little rectangles or squares.
  7. Serve right away or store covered in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
