Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds frozen crinkle cut fries
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces beef sausage sliced into 0.5 inch rounds
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.33 cup ranch dressing
- 0.25 cup green onions sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F. Spread the frozen fries on a large baking sheet. Toss them with 1 tablespoon olive oil and 0.5 teaspoon salt.
- Bake the fries for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
- While the fries bake, heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until browned and heated through. Stir in 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder and 0.25 teaspoon black pepper.
- Remove the fries from the oven. Transfer them to an oven-safe dish or keep them on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle 1.5 cups cheddar cheese and 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese evenly over the hot fries.
- Top the cheese with the cooked sausage pieces.
- Return the dish to the oven for 5 to 7 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven. Drizzle 0.33 cup ranch dressing evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle 0.25 cup sliced green onions over everything and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, bake fries on a wire rack set over a baking sheet.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the oven for best texture.
