Description

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 3 3/4 cup all purpose flour
Instructions
- Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it proof for 2-5 minutes.
- Add oil, salt, egg, and flour (1 cup at a time). Mix until combined. Let the mixer knead the dough for about 4 minutes. The dough will be soft; add just enough flour so you can form balls with oiled hands.
- Spray your hands with baking spray and shape the dough into 15 individual balls.
- Place the dough balls in the prepared baking dish and cover with a dish towel.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and place the pan on top of the oven to let the dough rise while the oven heats.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter before serving.
Notes
- Adding too much flour will make the rolls dense.
- Use oily hands to shape the dough into balls.
- Let the dough rise on top of the preheating oven.
