Description
Sweet, creamy yogurt custard toast made in the air fryer with berries and honey. A quick, high-protein breakfast ready in under 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 slices thick bread (brioche or sourdough)
- 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar or extra honey for serving
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, egg, honey, and vanilla until smooth.
- Use the back of a spoon to press down the center of each bread slice, creating a shallow well.
- Spoon the yogurt mixture into the well of each slice, spreading evenly.
- Top with fresh berries.
- Place slices in the air fryer basket and cook for 6 to 7 minutes until golden and custard is just set.
- Remove carefully and let cool for 2 minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey before serving.
