Description

Sweet, creamy yogurt custard toast made in the air fryer with berries and honey. A quick, high-protein breakfast ready in under 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices thick bread (brioche or sourdough)
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar or extra honey for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, egg, honey, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Use the back of a spoon to press down the center of each bread slice, creating a shallow well.
  4. Spoon the yogurt mixture into the well of each slice, spreading evenly.
  5. Top with fresh berries.
  6. Place slices in the air fryer basket and cook for 6 to 7 minutes until golden and custard is just set.
  7. Remove carefully and let cool for 2 minutes.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey before serving.
