Ingredients

  • 4 oz Feta cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ tsp minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped chives
  • ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper


Instructions

  1. Combine feta, cream cheese, and olive oil in a food processor. Process until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Add basil and garlic. Mix well again.
  3. Transfer the cheese mixture to a small plate or shallow bowl. Use a spoon to form a well in the center.
  4. Pour the honey into the well.
  5. Garnish the edges of the well with chives, pistachios, and cracked black pepper.
  6. Serve right away with warm pita bread.

Notes

  • For seasonal serving from November to January, pair this dip with toasted flatbread, roasted sweet potato wedges, or pear slices.
