Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups Unsalted Butter, softened (3 sticks)
- 3 cups Granulated Sugar
- 6 Large Eggs, at room temperature
- 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
- ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Whole Milk, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 3-4 tablespoons Whole Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt or tube pan.
- Beat softened butter and sugar in a large bowl with a mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the batter, alternating with milk. Mix on low speed until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 75-85 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake and let it set.
