Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt or tube pan.
  2. Beat softened butter and sugar in a large bowl with a mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the batter, alternating with milk. Mix on low speed until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 75-85 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
