Description

Easy Turkey Wrapped Mozzarella Bites with fresh basil and balsamic glaze make a flavorful party appetizer ready in 20 minutes with just four ingredients. These simple bites pair deli turkey with marinated mozzarella and basil for an impressive finger food.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces thinly sliced deli turkey breast
  • 20 marinated mozzarella pearls, drained and patted dry
  • 20 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Drain the marinated mozzarella pearls in a colander and pat them completely dry with paper towels.
  2. Cut each slice of turkey breast in half lengthwise to create narrow strips approximately 1 inch wide.
  3. Lay one turkey strip flat on a clean cutting board.
  4. Place one basil leaf on the end of the turkey strip closest to you, then set one mozzarella pearl on top of the basil.
  5. Roll the turkey tightly around the basil and mozzarella, forming a compact bundle.
  6. Insert a wooden cocktail pick through the center of each roll to secure the layers.
  7. Repeat the process with remaining turkey strips, basil leaves, and mozzarella pearls.
  8. Arrange the finished bites on a serving platter and drizzle lightly with balsamic glaze just before serving.

Notes

  • Patting the mozzarella dry removes excess oil, helping the turkey wrap stay secure.
  • Use wooden cocktail picks to hold the rolls together for easy serving.
  • This appetizer requires no cooking.
