Description
Quick 10-minute turkey and cheese roll-ups with tangy mustard dip. Perfect no-cook protein snack or appetizer ready in minutes with just 5 simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 12 slices deli turkey breast
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach leaves
- 12 small pretzel sticks
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the mustard dip by whisking together the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, honey, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a small bowl until smooth and well combined.
- Cover the dip and refrigerate while assembling the roll-ups to allow the flavors to blend together, at least 5 minutes.
- Lay one slice of turkey flat on a clean work surface and place one slice of cheddar or Swiss cheese on top, aligning the edges.
- Add 2 to 3 baby spinach leaves across the bottom third of the turkey and cheese stack.
- Starting from the bottom edge with the spinach, tightly roll up the turkey and cheese into a compact cylinder, ensuring the filling stays centered.
- Insert a pretzel stick horizontally through the center of each roll-up to secure it and make it easy to pick up and dip.
- Arrange the roll-ups on a serving platter alongside the bowl of mustard dip and serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Use freshly sliced deli turkey from the deli counter for better flavor and texture.
- Pat the turkey and cheese dry with paper towels before rolling to prevent sogginess.
- Make the mustard dip up to 3 days ahead.
- For meal prep, assemble roll-ups without pretzel sticks and store seam-side down.
- Slice each roll-up into pinwheels for an elegant appetizer presentation, securing with a toothpick.
- Store assembled roll-ups in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Do not freeze. Serve cold directly from the refrigerator.
