- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon slices (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to make a spice rub.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Generously coat each fillet with the spice rub.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Let rest for a few minutes after removing from the oven.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon slices.
