Description

Creamy spinach artichoke dip baked until bubbly. This is an easy make-ahead party appetizer featuring simple ingredients and bold flavor that everyone enjoys.


Ingredients

  • 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach thawed and squeezed very dry
  • 14 ounces canned artichoke hearts drained and finely chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 half cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 half teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 half teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 quarter teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Tortilla chips for serving
  • Crackers for serving
  • Sliced baguette for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Lightly grease an 8 by 8 inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Stir in mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Fold in spinach and artichokes until evenly mixed.
  6. Spread the mixture into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until hot and bubbling at the edges.
  8. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes until lightly golden on top.
  9. Rest for 5 minutes before serving with chips, crackers, or bread.

Notes

  • Keep the dip hot while serving.
  • Reheat leftovers to 165°F before eating.
