Description

This Spiced Winter Margarita brings warmth and flavor to your glass with pomegranate, orange, and a hint of spice. It is simple enough for any beginner to mix up.


Ingredients

  • 2.5 oz pomegranate juice
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ⅜ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅜ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • Sparkling ginger beverage (optional)


Instructions

  1. Run a slice of tangerine or orange around the rim of a rocks glass. Dip the rim into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Fill the glass with ice.
  2. Add pomegranate juice, orange juice, honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to a shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice. Secure the lid and shake for 15 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled.
  4. Strain the drink into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
  5. Add a splash of sparkling ginger beverage for a bubbly touch (optional).
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
