Description
This Spiced Winter Margarita brings warmth and flavor to your glass with pomegranate, orange, and a hint of spice. It is simple enough for any beginner to mix up.
Ingredients
- 2.5 oz pomegranate juice
- 2 oz orange juice
- 1 tbsp honey
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅜ tsp ground cinnamon
- ⅜ tsp ground ginger
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 sprig rosemary
- Sparkling ginger beverage (optional)
Instructions
- Run a slice of tangerine or orange around the rim of a rocks glass. Dip the rim into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Fill the glass with ice.
- Add pomegranate juice, orange juice, honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to a shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice. Secure the lid and shake for 15 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled.
- Strain the drink into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Add a splash of sparkling ginger beverage for a bubbly touch (optional).
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

- Cinnamon-Sugar Rim Recipe: Mix 1 tablespoon coarse sugar, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1 pinch cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
