Description

Creamy slow cooker shredded chicken sandwiches made with simple ingredients. Easy, comforting, and perfect for feeding a crowd.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup 10.75 ounces each
  • 1 box seasoned chicken stuffing mix 6 ounces
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 10 sandwich buns


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. Pour the condensed cream of chicken soup evenly over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 3½ to 4 hours until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  5. Stir in the dry stuffing mix and chicken broth until evenly combined.
  6. Cover and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes until the stuffing is fully moistened and the mixture is creamy.
  7. Taste and stir well, adding a small splash of broth if a softer texture is desired.
  8. Spoon the shredded chicken mixture onto sandwich buns and serve warm.
