Description
Easy slow cooker ravioli lasagna layered with beef, cheese ravioli, and mozzarella. A simple comfort dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 24 ounce jar marinara sauce
- 1 25 ounce package frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt and black pepper for 6 to 8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and marinara sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes to blend flavors. Remove from heat.
- Lightly coat the inside of a 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
- Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in an even layer over the sauce.
- Spoon half of the remaining meat sauce over the ravioli. Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella, 1/2 cup cheddar, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat the layers with remaining ravioli, meat sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours until the ravioli are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Turn off the slow cooker and let rest uncovered for 10 minutes before serving to allow the layers to set.
Notes
- Cook ground beef to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F as measured with a meat thermometer to ensure it is safe to eat.
