Description
Tender, juicy slow cooker BBQ ribs coated in a rich smoky barbecue sauce. The meat becomes fall apart tender and finishes with a flavorful glaze for an easy comfort food meal.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef ribs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Pat ribs dry and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Place ribs in the slow cooker in a single layer.
- Pour barbecue sauce and beef broth over the ribs.
- Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours until ribs are very tender.
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Transfer ribs to the baking sheet and brush with additional barbecue sauce.
- Bake for 10 minutes until slightly caramelized.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Cook beef to an internal temperature of at least 145°F with a 3 minute rest for safe consumption.
- For extra flavor, broil for 2 to 3 minutes at the end.
