Description

Tender, juicy slow cooker BBQ ribs coated in a rich smoky barbecue sauce. The meat becomes fall apart tender and finishes with a flavorful glaze for an easy comfort food meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef ribs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth


Instructions

  1. Pat ribs dry and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Place ribs in the slow cooker in a single layer.
  3. Pour barbecue sauce and beef broth over the ribs.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours until ribs are very tender.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  6. Transfer ribs to the baking sheet and brush with additional barbecue sauce.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes until slightly caramelized.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Cook beef to an internal temperature of at least 145°F with a 3 minute rest for safe consumption.
  • For extra flavor, broil for 2 to 3 minutes at the end.
