Ingredients

  • 12 ounces semi sweet chocolate finely chopped
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder (for coating)
  • Finely chopped nuts (for coating)
  • Powdered sugar (for coating)


Instructions

  1. Place the chopped chocolate in a heat safe bowl.
  2. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to steam. Do not boil.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let sit for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the butter and stir gently until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours until firm enough to scoop.
