Description

Easy Pizza Pot Pie is a simple, hearty meal perfect for beginner cooks. It combines classic pizza flavors in a comforting pot pie format, topped with cheesy biscuits.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 package (6 oz) pepperoni
  • 1 can (2.25 oz) sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup beef bacon bits
  • 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix (water, shredded cheese and butter is needed)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Brown ground beef and breakfast sausage.
  3. In a 9×13 inch pan, combine the cooked beef, sausage, pepperoni, and pasta sauce. Mix well.
  4. Add the black olives.
  5. Layer the shredded mozzarella cheese over the meat mixture.
  6. Prepare the biscuit mix according to package directions, adding the beef bacon bits. (Optional: add an extra 1/2 cup water to the mix).
  7. Spoon the biscuit mixture evenly over the mozzarella cheese layer.
  8. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the biscuit topping is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Prepare the garlic butter from the Red Lobster box and brush it over the biscuit topping.
  10. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Ensure ground beef and sausage are fully browned before adding to the pan.
  • The extra water in the biscuit mix can make the topping softer. Adjust to your preference.
