Description
Easy Pizza Pot Pie is a simple, hearty meal perfect for beginner cooks. It combines classic pizza flavors in a comforting pot pie format, topped with cheesy biscuits.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 package (6 oz) pepperoni
- 1 can (2.25 oz) sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup beef bacon bits
- 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce
- 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 Box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix (water, shredded cheese and butter is needed)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Brown ground beef and breakfast sausage.
- In a 9×13 inch pan, combine the cooked beef, sausage, pepperoni, and pasta sauce. Mix well.
- Add the black olives.
- Layer the shredded mozzarella cheese over the meat mixture.
- Prepare the biscuit mix according to package directions, adding the beef bacon bits. (Optional: add an extra 1/2 cup water to the mix).
- Spoon the biscuit mixture evenly over the mozzarella cheese layer.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the biscuit topping is golden brown and cooked through.
- Prepare the garlic butter from the Red Lobster box and brush it over the biscuit topping.
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
- Ensure ground beef and sausage are fully browned before adding to the pan.
- The extra water in the biscuit mix can make the topping softer. Adjust to your preference.
