Description

Soft and buttery Parmesan bread bites brushed with garlic herb butter and baked until golden. A crave-worthy snack or appetizer for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 batch pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (or 1 teaspoon garlic salt)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 46 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for greasing
  • Marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a large baking sheet with olive oil or nonstick spray. Prepare pizza dough according to your recipe or package directions.
  2. After the dough’s first rise, gently punch it down. Cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart. Cover with a clean towel and let rise for 30 minutes.
  3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt butter with garlic. Stir in salt, Italian seasoning, and parsley.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush dough pieces generously with half of the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until light golden brown. Avoid over-browning to keep the bites soft.
  6. Brush the hot bites immediately with remaining garlic butter. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Enjoy hot with marinara sauce or as a buttery snack.

Notes

  • The total rise time for the dough is about 2 hours, including the 30-minute second rise after shaping.
  • Avoid over-baking to maintain the soft texture of the bites.
