- Cupcakes:
- 22 Oreo cookies

- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 5-6 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions
- Cupcakes: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a cupcake pan with liners. Place one Oreo cookie in the bottom of each liner.
- In a stand mixer bowl, whisk together cake flour, sugar, black cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, sour cream, buttermilk, egg, vanilla extract, white vinegar, and black food coloring.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix on low speed until just combined.
- Portion batter into cupcake liners, filling them 1/2 to 2/3 full.
- Bake for 16-19 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove cupcakes and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
- Oreo Frosting: In a stand mixer bowl, cream softened butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and heavy cream. Mix until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract, crushed Oreos, and salt. Mix on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add more heavy cream if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes.
