Description
Easy ooey-gooey garlic bread pizza bites made in the air fryer. Perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf Italian or French bread, cut into 1 to 1.5-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley or 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini beef pepperoni
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley or Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- In a large bowl, toss the bread cubes with the garlic butter mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Place the buttered bread cubes in the air fryer basket in a single, even layer. You may need to work in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 4–5 minutes, or until the bread is lightly golden and toasted.
- Carefully remove the basket from the air fryer. Top each bread cube with a small spoonful of pizza sauce, a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese, and a few pieces of mini beef pepperoni.
- Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3–4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and “ooey-gooey”.
- Remove the pizza bites from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired, and serve warm.
