Description

These bars layer a soft peanut butter base with a smooth chocolate topping for a simple dessert with no oven needed.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1.5 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup creamy peanut butter


Instructions

  1. Mix melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter in a large bowl until combined and smooth.
  2. Press the mixture evenly into a lined 9 by 13 inch baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and 0.25 cup peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
  6. Slice into bars and serve chilled or at room temperature.
