Description
Fun and easy mummy hot dogs made with crescent rolls, perfect for Halloween parties or a spooky snack.
Ingredients
- 6 hot dogs
- 8 oz crescent roll tube
- Candy eyes for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Unroll crescent roll dough. Press perforations to seal. Cut dough into 1/4″ strips.
- Wrap strips around each hot dog, leaving gaps so the hot dog shows. Leave a small gap at one end for candy eyes.
- Place wrapped hot dogs on the baking sheet. Continue until all are wrapped to resemble mummies.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until dough is golden brown and hot dogs are warm.
- Remove from oven. Place a dot of mustard or ketchup on the back of candy eyes and stick them onto the mummy dogs.
- Eat warm.
Notes
- You can use any type of hot dog you prefer.
- Mustard or ketchup can be used as ‘glue’ for the candy eyes.
