Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your electric doughnut maker or oven to 350°F and grease your mini doughnut pans.
  2. In a small bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk the egg and sugar. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. Gently stir the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until the batter is smooth.
  5. Add the powdered sugar to a paper or plastic bag and set aside.
  6. Carefully fill each doughnut spot about 3/4 full.
  7. If using an oven, bake for 7 to 9 minutes. If using an electric doughnut maker, follow its instructions. A toothpick coming out clean indicates they are ready.
  8. Transfer the warm doughnuts into the bag with the powdered sugar and shake until coated.
  9. Serve immediately.
