Ingredients
- 1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ½ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your electric doughnut maker or oven to 350°F and grease your mini doughnut pans.
- In a small bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the egg and sugar. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gently stir the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until the batter is smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar to a paper or plastic bag and set aside.
- Carefully fill each doughnut spot about 3/4 full.
- If using an oven, bake for 7 to 9 minutes. If using an electric doughnut maker, follow its instructions. A toothpick coming out clean indicates they are ready.
- Transfer the warm doughnuts into the bag with the powdered sugar and shake until coated.
- Serve immediately.
