Description
A rich and cheesy baked spaghetti casserole with layers of pasta, seasoned meats, and creamy cheese mixtures.
Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 pound beef sausage
- 48 ounces spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounces ricotta cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti noodles to al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- While the spaghetti cooks, brown the ground beef and beef sausage over medium heat. Drain the meat, then mix it with the spaghetti sauce.
- In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce in a 9×13 casserole dish. Add half the cooked spaghetti over the sauce.
- Spread half of the meat sauce, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the spaghetti.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining spaghetti, meat sauce, and cheese.
- Bake at 375°F for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the casserole is hot throughout.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

- Ensure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
