Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix 15.25 ounces
  • 2 cups frozen whipped topping thawed
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the lemon cake mix, thawed whipped topping, and egg in a large bowl.
  3. Mix until the dough is fully combined and smooth. It will be thick and sticky.
  4. Place the powdered sugar in a small bowl.
  5. Scoop the dough by teaspoon sized portions and drop them into the powdered sugar.
  6. Roll gently to coat completely. Place the dough balls 1½ inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the cookies are set but still soft and pale on top.
  8. Remove from the oven. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving them to a wire rack to cool completely.
