Description

Rich, creamy, and packed with tender shrimp baked in a bubbly garlic cheese sauce. This comforting seafood casserole delivers bold flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season them with sea salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp begin turning pink but are not fully cooked.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and cream cheese. Cook until the cream cheese fully melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
  6. Stir in the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Transfer the shrimp mixture to a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle the Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the top.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown and the shrimp reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
