Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season them with sea salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp begin turning pink but are not fully cooked.
- Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and cream cheese. Cook until the cream cheese fully melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
- Stir in the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Transfer the shrimp mixture to a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle the Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown and the shrimp reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
