Description

Crispy, low carb zucchini chips made in the air fryer. A quick and healthy snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchini, sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Slice zucchini into thin, even rounds (about 1/8 inch thick).
  2. Pat zucchini slices dry with paper towels.
  3. Toss zucchini slices with olive oil until lightly coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the zucchini and toss gently to coat evenly.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F for 3 minutes.
  7. Arrange zucchini slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, without overlapping. Cook in batches if necessary.
  8. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp.
  9. Remove chips and let them cool for a few minutes to crisp further.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, cook for an additional minute or two, but watch closely to prevent burning.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat briefly in the air fryer.
