Description
Tender air fryer beef meatballs seasoned with Italian herbs and parmesan. These cook fast, making a great dinner or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds lean ground beef
- 1/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons finely grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Whisk the egg and milk in a large bowl until combined.
- Stir in the breadcrumbs, parsley, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the ground beef. Gently mix with your hands just until combined. Do not overmix.
- Divide the mixture into 16 equal portions. Roll into meatballs about 1.5 inches wide.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
- Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Reduce the temperature to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Verify the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit using a food thermometer.
- Let the meatballs rest for 3 minutes before serving. Serve with sauce, pasta, or in a sandwich.
