Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon high-quality matcha powder
- 1 tablespoon umeboshi plum paste
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 small strip kombu about 2 inches
- 1 cup hot water around 175°F/80°C
- 1 teaspoon raw honey optional, for sweetness
Instructions
- Soak the kombu strip in 1 cup of hot water (around 175°F) for 3 minutes, then remove and discard the kombu.
- Add the matcha powder to the kombu-infused water and whisk until smooth and frothy.
- Stir in the umeboshi plum paste and freshly grated ginger until fully dissolved.
- If desired, add raw honey for a touch of sweetness.
