Description
Tender, juicy steak bites slow-cooked in a garlic butter sauce for an easy comfort food dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Pat steak pieces dry with paper towels and place them in the crockpot.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, garlic, sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the steak bites and stir gently to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the steak is tender.
- Stir once during cooking if possible to evenly distribute the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- Cook steak to an internal temperature of 145°F followed by a 3-minute rest for food safety.
