Description

Tender, juicy steak bites slow-cooked in a garlic butter sauce for an easy comfort food dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Pat steak pieces dry with paper towels and place them in the crockpot.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, garlic, sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Pour the sauce over the steak bites and stir gently to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the steak is tender.
  5. Stir once during cooking if possible to evenly distribute the sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  7. Cook steak to an internal temperature of 145°F followed by a 3-minute rest for food safety.
