Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 half teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Place the salmon fillets skin side down and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until the skin is crisp.
- Flip and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until the salmon is flaky and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- In a small bowl mix honey soy sauce garlic lemon juice and Dijon mustard.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes while spooning the glaze over the salmon until slightly thickened and glossy.
- Sprinkle green onions over the top and serve immediately.
