Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 naan breads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
- 2 green onions sliced
- For the honey garlic sauce:
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken strips with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes until browned and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, cornstarch, and water.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet with the cooked chicken. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
- Warm the naan breads in a dry skillet or oven until soft and pliable.
- Fill each naan bread with shredded lettuce, carrots, cucumber, and honey garlic chicken.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
