Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings, split
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat your chicken wings very dry with paper towels. Toss them with baking powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then stir this mixture into the sauce. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until thickened.
- Toss the baked wings in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve immediately.
