Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat your chicken wings very dry with paper towels. Toss them with baking powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
  4. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir this mixture into the sauce. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until thickened.
  7. Toss the baked wings in the sauce until evenly coated.
  8. Serve immediately.
