Description

Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken fillets cut into bite size pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 half teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 third cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 quarter cup water
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and pepper then toss with cornstarch until lightly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add the chicken in a single layer and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until golden and cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in honey soy sauce ketchup apple cider vinegar and water. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Sprinkle green onions on top and serve warm.
