Description

This recipe yields tender, flaky salmon coated in a rich honey garlic glaze with fresh lemon and herbs. It is a quick, high-protein dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets skin on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 half teaspoon salt
  • 1 half teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 quarter teaspoon paprika
  • 1 lemon sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Arrange salmon fillets on the baking sheet in a single layer. Pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl stir together melted butter, garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  4. Spoon the sauce evenly over each salmon fillet, coating the tops well.
  5. Place lemon slices over and around the salmon.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and baste the salmon with the pan juices.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily and reaches 145 degrees F internally.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Spoon extra sauce from the pan over the top before serving.

Notes

  • Serve immediately for best texture.
  • Leftover salmon can be flaked and added to salads or grain bowls the next day.
