Description
This recipe yields tender, flaky salmon coated in a rich honey garlic glaze with fresh lemon and herbs. It is a quick, high-protein dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets skin on or skinless
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 3 cloves garlic finely minced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
- 1 half teaspoon salt
- 1 half teaspoon black pepper
- 1 quarter teaspoon paprika
- 1 lemon sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Arrange salmon fillets on the baking sheet in a single layer. Pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl stir together melted butter, garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
- Spoon the sauce evenly over each salmon fillet, coating the tops well.
- Place lemon slices over and around the salmon.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and baste the salmon with the pan juices.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily and reaches 145 degrees F internally.
- Remove from oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Spoon extra sauce from the pan over the top before serving.
Notes
- Serve immediately for best texture.
- Leftover salmon can be flaked and added to salads or grain bowls the next day.
