  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment.
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add egg, honey, and vanilla; whisk until combined.
  3. Stir in flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon cinnamon until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Mix granulated sugar and remaining ½ teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over batter.
  5. Bake 22–25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
