Description
These high protein smash chicken Caesar tacos are crispy, juicy, and packed with classic Caesar flavor. A quick skillet taco perfect for dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- ⅓ cup Caesar dressing
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Mix the ground chicken with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl until evenly combined.
- Flip each tortilla over and spread a thin, even layer of seasoned chicken on the back of each tortilla, pressing firmly.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
- Place the tortillas chicken side down in the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and golden.
- Flip the tortillas and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the tortilla side is crisp.
- Remove from the skillet and top each taco with romaine lettuce.
- Drizzle with Caesar dressing and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Fold and serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
- Ground chicken must reach an internal temperature of 160°F before serving.
