Description

These high protein smash chicken Caesar tacos are crispy, juicy, and packed with classic Caesar flavor. A quick skillet taco perfect for dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • ⅓ cup Caesar dressing
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Mix the ground chicken with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl until evenly combined.
  2. Flip each tortilla over and spread a thin, even layer of seasoned chicken on the back of each tortilla, pressing firmly.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  4. Place the tortillas chicken side down in the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and golden.
  5. Flip the tortillas and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the tortilla side is crisp.
  6. Remove from the skillet and top each taco with romaine lettuce.
  7. Drizzle with Caesar dressing and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  8. Fold and serve immediately while hot and crispy.
