Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled beef or turkey bacon, divided
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives or green onions, chopped, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. If using chicken breasts, pound them to an even thickness.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese, and ½ cup crumbled bacon.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken.
