Description

These high protein bagel bites cook fast in the air fryer, yielding a soft center and chewy crust. They make a great make-ahead snack or breakfast.


Ingredients

  • ⅒ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup unflavored protein powder
  • ⅒ cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 10 teaspoons plain cream cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Everything bagel seasoning


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F and lightly coat the basket with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and protein powder.
  3. Add Greek yogurt and mix until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Divide dough into 10 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  5. Flatten one portion, place 1 teaspoon cream cheese in the center, and seal the dough completely around it.
  6. Roll gently to form a smooth ball and repeat with remaining dough.
  7. Brush each bagel bite lightly with beaten egg.
  8. Sprinkle tops generously with everything bagel seasoning.
  9. Arrange in the air fryer basket with space between each piece.
  10. Air fry for 6 to 7 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  11. Cool for 3 minutes before serving so the filling sets slightly.
