Description
Garlic confit butter is a flavorful spread made by combining softened butter with tender, slow-cooked garlic. It’s easy to make and perfect for adding a gourmet touch to any dish.
Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons salted butter, softened
- 10 cloves garlic confit (or roasted garlic)
- Pinch of fine sea salt, optional
Instructions
- Ensure your butter is very soft. If it’s not at room temperature, warm it slightly.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the garlic confit. Use a fork to mash them together until the garlic is fully combined.
- Taste the mixture. Add more garlic or a pinch of salt if desired.
- You can enjoy the butter immediately. For storage, transfer it to a glass jar and keep it refrigerated for up to one month.
- If serving after refrigeration, let the butter soften at room temperature to make it spreadable.
Notes
- If you use garlic confit, you can add some of its oil to the butter to improve spreadability straight from the refrigerator.
