Description
These garlic butter steak bites are tender, juicy, and seared to perfection. This quick skillet steak recipe finishes in under 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels and season evenly with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Add steak cubes in a single layer, working in batches if needed, and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until well browned.
- Reduce heat to medium and return all steak to the skillet.
- Add butter and garlic and cook for 30 to 60 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant and the steak is coated.
- Remove from heat and rest for 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the pan or the steak will steam instead of sear.
