Description

These garlic butter steak bites are tender, juicy, and seared to perfection. This quick skillet steak recipe finishes in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels and season evenly with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Add steak cubes in a single layer, working in batches if needed, and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until well browned.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and return all steak to the skillet.
  5. Add butter and garlic and cook for 30 to 60 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant and the steak is coated.
  6. Remove from heat and rest for 3 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan or the steak will steam instead of sear.
