Description

Hearty meal with juicy steak, seasoned rice, and fresh toppings finished with rich garlic butter flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 cups cooked white or brown rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup shredded carrots


Instructions

  1. Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat a large skillet over high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Add steak cubes in a single layer and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Return all steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes more.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  7. Assemble bowls by dividing cooked rice among serving bowls.
  8. Top with steak bites, steamed broccoli, cherry tomatoes, and shredded carrots.
  9. Spoon any remaining garlic butter from the skillet over the bowls before serving.
