Description
Easy sandwiches with garlic butter chicken, romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, and toasted rolls, ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts sliced thin
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 sandwich rolls split and lightly toasted
- 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add the butter and olive oil to the skillet. Once melted, stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Season the chicken with sea salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- In a medium bowl, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing and half of the Parmesan cheese.
- Place the cooked chicken onto the toasted sandwich rolls.
- Top with the Caesar salad mixture and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, lightly toast the sandwich rolls with a little garlic butter before assembling the sandwiches.
