Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared sheet. Pat dry with a paper towel.
- Season fillets evenly with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, zest, honey, and thyme.
- Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet, coating the tops well.
- Arrange lemon slices over and around the salmon.
- Bake for 16 to 20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove from oven and let rest 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
