Description

This frozen cherry mint mocktail is bright, refreshing, and blended smooth with lime and fresh mint for a perfect summer drink.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen pitted cherries
  • 3 cups crushed ice
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves packed
  • 1 cup cold sparkling water
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (for syrup)
  • 3/4 cup water (for syrup)
  • 3 limes juiced and finely zested (for syrup)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh cherries (for serving)


Instructions

  1. Combine the sugar, water, lime juice, and lime zest in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and cool completely.
  4. Add the frozen cherries, crushed ice, mint leaves, sparkling water, and 1/2 cup of the cooled lime syrup to a high speed blender.
  5. Blend until smooth and slushy.
  6. Taste and add more lime syrup if a sweeter drink is desired.
  7. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with lime wedges and fresh cherries. Serve immediately.
