Ingredients
- 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (ciliegine or bocconcini)
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish and decorating
- 4–5 oz baby arugula or spinach leaves (optional, for wreath base)
- 2–3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2–3 tbsp balsamic glaze (or balsamic reduction)
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place a small bowl or cup in the center of a large round platter or board as a guide. Arrange arugula or spinach around the bowl to form the green base of the wreath.
- Alternate and scatter the mozzarella balls and cherry tomatoes evenly around the greens, building a full circle.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves all around the wreath for a festive look, using additional herbs like rosemary sprigs if desired.
- Carefully remove the center bowl to reveal a wreath shape.
- Drizzle the wreath with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
- Serve immediately with toothpicks or small skewers for easy sharing.

- Make this wreath up to 2 hours in advance; cover and refrigerate until serving.
- For extra flavor, toss the mozzarella or tomatoes with Italian seasoning before arranging, and add roasted red peppers or olives for variety.
