Description

A quick and satisfying dinner featuring seasoned beef, crispy potatoes, fresh toppings, and a creamy tangy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen French fries or halved baby potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion diced
  • 2 teaspoons avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 3/4 cup diced dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven or air fryer to 400°F. Toss potatoes or fries with oil, salt, and pepper. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil. Add diced onion and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until softened.
  3. Add ground beef and break it apart. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and pepper. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Ground beef should reach 160°F.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and Cajun seasoning. Stir in pickle juice until smooth and pourable. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Divide crispy potatoes into serving bowls. Top with cooked beef and sprinkle with cheddar cheese while warm.
  6. Add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and red onion.
  7. Drizzle generously with the sauce and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spread potatoes in a single layer and avoid overcrowding.
  • The sauce can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 3 days.
