Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey sausage
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 half teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 half teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 half teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 quarter teaspoon salt
  • 1 quarter teaspoon paprika


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey sausage and cook while breaking it into small crumbles. Cook for about 6 to 8 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  2. Add butter to the skillet with the sausage and allow it to melt completely.
  3. Sprinkle the flour evenly over the sausage mixture and stir continuously for about 1 minute to create a thick base.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk while stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika. Stir well to combine.
